S 258/13 Mounting Plate Black for KNX WIDE Presence Detector and 4x4 Boxes 5WG1258-8AB13
The S 258/13 Mounting Plate in black is an installation accessory that adapts KNX WIDE ceiling presence detectors (UP 258D..) to standard 4×4 electrical junction boxes. This black-finish counterpart to S 258/12 is designed for pairing with black-variant detectors (UP 258D33, D43, D53) to maintain a uniform dark appearance on the ceiling surface. When no 60 mm recessed back box is available and a 4×4 back box is used, this plate provides the mechanical interface for clean, secure, and aesthetically consistent ceiling mounting.

Installation Notes
Secure mounting plate to the 4×4 box in the ceiling void before ceiling finishing
Attach the KNX WIDE presence detector to the plate from below
For white-finish detectors, use S 258/12 (white plate) to match device color
For ceilings without any back box, use AP 258E13 surface mounting box instead
Verify that the 4×4 box screw hole pattern is compatible before ordering
