AP 258E13 Surface Mounting Box Type B Black for KNX WIDE Presence Detector 5WG1258-7EB13
The Surface Mounting Box Type B in black is an accessory designed to convert KNX WIDE series ceiling presence detectors (UP 258D..) from flush-mount to surface-mount installation. It is the black-finish counterpart to AP 258E11, intended for pairing with black-variant detectors (UP 258D33, D43, D53) to maintain a consistent visual appearance against dark or black ceilings. When a 60 mm recessed flush-mount box is unavailable, this box provides a stable, clean surface-mounted base without structural ceiling modifications.

Installation Notes

For white-finish detectors, use AP 258E11 (white) to match the device color
Alternative for 4×4 back box installations: use mounting plate S 258/13 (black)
