The 5WG12582DB12 (UP 258 D12) is a KNX flush-mount presence detector that combines a passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor with an integrated ambient light (lux) sensor for intelligent, energy-efficient building control. Installed flush into a standard 55 mm back box and compatible with the DELTA switch program, the polar white design (DB12) provides a clean, uniform appearance across mixed lighting and control installations.

The UP 258 series is suited for all occupancy-based automation scenarios. When presence is detected, the device sends ON telegrams to activate lighting or HVAC via the KNX bus; after the hold time expires with no movement, an OFF telegram is issued.
