The 5WG12587EB11 (AP 258E11) is a surface mounting box Type B designed to convert UP 258 KNX presence detectors (D31, D41, D51) from flush-mount to surface-mount installation. When structural constraints prevent back-box cavity installation, the AP 258E11 provides a clean, finished housing that secures the UP 258 detector directly on wall or ceiling surfaces.
The white finish (EB11) provides a neutral, unobtrusive appearance suited for corridors, utility rooms, and retrofit projects. Supplied pre-formed with cable entry points and mounting provisions compatible with the DELTA program detector footprint.

Ideal for retrofit projects in existing buildings where no back box is accessible, or in areas with solid concrete/masonry walls that prevent flush installation. The AP 258E11 enables UP 258 presence detectors to be mounted on any flat surface, maintaining a professional appearance.
Compatible with standard KNX installation practices - the detector bus connection is made inside the box using the existing bus cable, with no additional wiring tools required.
