BH series thermostat / Miniature thermal protector / Rechargeable battery thermostat
BW & BH series protectors provide reliable protection against over-current and over-temperature conditions. These units are firmly sealed, feature small internal resistance, operate silently, and reset automatically. When current flows through the temperature and current-sensitive bimetal component, abnormal conditions cause the bimetal to change state, either cutting off or restoring the circuit. BH series protectors offer enhanced safety compared to standard protectors, with no temperature effect lag during sudden high-current events.

BH series thermal protectors are effective, reliable security protection and alarm devices widely used in various applications including 1.5 horsepower motors, lighting devices, inverter welding machines, switch power supplies, rechargeable battery packs, fluorescent lamp ballasts, portable power tools, electric appliances, and other electrical equipment. They prevent damage from over-current and over-heating caused by abnormal operating conditions. Enforced types capable of withstanding 3.5MPa pressure are suitable for built-in installation in plastic coated motors.

BW series universal and enhanced protectors feature large metal casings and consist of thermal conductive metal casing, bimetallic components welded with silver alloy contact points, conductive brackets, insulation fixation stands, fixed contact strips, and heat resistance cables. During abnormal operation, when environmental temperature rises to the set value, the bimetallic components perform quick action, opening the contacts and disconnecting the circuit. When the device cools to safe operating temperature, the contacts automatically close and normal operation resumes.
