The UP-6197 Comprehensive Cyclic Corrosion Resistance Test Chamber with Digital Microcomputer Control provides advanced testing capabilities that simulate real-world environmental conditions more accurately than traditional salt spray testing methods.
Advanced Cyclic Corrosion Testing
Unlike traditional constant exposure tests, cyclic corrosion testing alternates between wet and dry environments to better replicate actual outdoor conditions. This method produces corrosion results that closely match real-world exposure, making it ideal for evaluating various corrosion mechanisms including general corrosion, galvanic corrosion, and crevice corrosion.
Automated Testing Process
This instrument uses microprocessor-controlled automation to complete complex test cycles that previously required manual sample transfer between different environmental chambers. This automation reduces testing uncertainty and improves repeatability.
