Method Summary

Measure the time that a certain volume of liquid flows through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer (countercurrent viscometer) under the action of gravity to determine the kinematic viscosity of dark petroleum products. The dynamic viscosity of the liquid can be obtained from the product of the measured kinematic viscosity and its density.
