SH112 Petroleum kinematic viscometer

SH112 Petroleum Kinematic Viscosity Meter complies with the requirements of the national standard GB/T 265 "Determination of Kinematic Viscosity and Calculation of Dynamic Viscosity of Petroleum Products." It can accommodate up to four viscometers simultaneously for testing and also serve as a high-viscosity constant-temperature water bath for other experiments. Featuring a large color LCD screen with Chinese display and unlabeled buttons, it uses a precision platinum resistance PT100 for temperature measurement. The temperature range can be set from 10°C to 100°C, with automatic switching between primary and auxiliary heaters. It retains capillary constants in case of power failure. The device automatically calculates viscosity values and also meets ASTM D445 standards

Kinematic viscosity: At a constant temperature, the gravitational flow of a specific volume of the model is determined through a calibrated glass capillary viscometer. The constant of the capillary viscometer varies with time, and the kinematic viscosity of the product is used to measure the viscosity of the liquid.

Key Features:

● The constant temperature bath is a circular glass tank with uniform temperature distribution and excellent temperature control (can be designed as a double tank).

● This instrument employs a precision digital temperature controller to regulate the bath temperature, utilizing solid-state relays (SSR) as the actuating component. It features accurate temperature control, contactless operation, silent performance, spark-free operation, rapid response, and extended service life.

● The capillary gauge adopts a three-point vertical design, offering flexible and convenient operation with reliable clamping.

● The viscosity tube can be selected as either a Ubbelohde viscometer or a Saybolt viscometer based on requirements.

● Equipped with USB input functionality, it allows data to be transferred to a PC for long-term storage (optional).

● Storage method: Experimental results can store up to 199 sets of historical data for convenient retrieval (optional);

● Output format: The USB flash drive output format can be CSV or Excel (optional).

Technical parameters

Consumables required to be prepared by the customer: water or glycerin. Strictly follow national standards; the following reagents must be used for cleaning before the viscosity tube test: solvent oil or petroleum.
