The SH106B Fully Automatic Open Flash Point Tester is designed and manufactured in accordance with the requirements specified in the Chinese national standards GB/T 3536 and GB/T 267 "Methods for Determination of Flash Point and Ignition Point of Petroleum Products (Cleveland Open Cup Method)" as well as GB/T 1671-2008 "Determination of Flash Point of Plasticizers (ASTM D92)", "Safety Testing and Inspection Specifications for In-Use Products in Coal Mines (Air Compressors)", MT/T 1203-2023 "Open Flash Point of Lubricating Oil for Air Compressors", and ISO 2592.

The open flash point is primarily used to determine the flash point of engine oils such as gasoline engine lubricants, diesel engine lubricants, compressor oils, refrigeration oils, turbine oils, gear oils, and mechanical oils

The principle of open flash point determination involves filling the test sample into the test cup up to the specified mark. First, the temperature of the sample is raised, followed by a gradual increase. As the flash point approaches, the temperature is maintained at a constant rate. At predetermined temperature intervals, a small test flame is passed horizontally across the test cup. The lowest temperature at which the vapor on the liquid surface ignites with the test flame is recorded as the open flash point result.

● This instrument features a large color LCD screen with a full Chinese human-machine interface and a keyboard without labels. It provides prompt menus and guided input functions for parameters such as preset temperature, sample number, atmospheric pressure, and test date.

● Automatically correct the influence of atmospheric pressure on the test and calculate the correction value.

● Differential detection, automatic system deviation correction.

● Scanning, detection, and printing data are automatically completed, with the testing arm rising and lowering automatically.

● Electronic ignition, forced air cooling.

● It can ignite automatically without requiring a gas source, enhancing the safety of the test.
