Product Description

 

Introduction

The Geotextile Effective Porosity Measuring Instrument (Wet Sieving Method) uses the wet sieving method to determine the equivalent porosity of geotextiles and related products. Using unstretched geotextile samples as the sieve mesh, under the specified vibration frequency and amplitude, water is sprayed onto the samples and the graded particle materials to allow the particle materials to pass through the samples. The specific particle size of the passed particle materials represents the effective porosity of the sample.

 

Main features

Suitable for the determination of effective pore diameters of various geotextiles;

The design is split into two parts to prevent damage to the control system caused by vibrations during high-speed operation.

The components are connected by aviation plugs, which are easy to install and remove.

The mechanical vibration screen is operated by vibration, which is smooth and highly efficient.

Fully transparent protective cover, which can be cleaned to observe the experimental situation;

The sample is placed on the metal mesh, to prevent the sample from undergoing excessive deformation due to the quality of the particulate material.

The vibration time can be set arbitrarily and is displayed numerically.

The amplitude can be adjusted. It is controlled by a knob, making the operation very simple.

The experiment is convenient and easy to operate.
