Working principle: Vibratory body densitometer USES vibratory principle to measure density.The density of the liquid in which the fork vibrates changes the resonance frequency of the instrument.By monitoring the resonant frequency and performing a well-known conversion, the vibrational type provides highly accurate on-line density measurements.

The vibration element is similar to a two-toothed tuning fork. The fork body vibrates due to a piezoelectric crystal located at the root of the tooth.
