The BGD 184 Stormer Viscometer measures viscosity of both Newtonian and non-Newtonian fluids in compliance with ASTM D562 standards. This digital instrument provides precise viscosity measurements at a constant 200 rpm shear rate, offering consistent results for quality control in production or laboratory environments.
Based on the traditional KREBS method but enhanced with modern digital technology, this viscometer features automated motor operation (eliminating the need for weights and pulley systems) and provides direct readings in either KU (Krebs units) or grams. The built-in microprocessor automatically converts between these units for user convenience.
