Introduction
The geosynthetic material blockage test apparatus is used for the test of geosynthetic material filter layers. It employs the gradient ratio method to measure the permeability coefficient and permeability ratio of the soil and the geosynthetic fabric system as well as their interfaces under non-pressure conditions, and also measures the mud content of the geosynthetic fabric to determine whether an unacceptable blockage occurs when the geosynthetic material is used as a filter layer for a certain type of soil.
