Core Standards for Cutresistance Performance

Meet requirements of GB 245412022, EN ISO 13997, ASTM F2992/F2992M, FprEN 388:2016 and XF6332006 standards.

Test Procedure

Perform cutting tests at a cutting speed of 2.5±0.5mm/s.

Start the test with 5mm blade travel distance between blade and sample.

Set blade cutting travel distance within 5mm50mm.

Complete at least 15 test cycles under different cutting loads.

Distribute 5 test cycles within the ranges of 5mm15mm, 15mm30mm and 30mm50mm on sample pieces respectively.

Each cutting stroke on sample shall keep at least 30mm distance from adjacent cuts.

Maintain at least 30mm distance from sample edges.

Adopt plastic shims with thickness no more than 0.01mm for conductivesample testing.

Record cutting force and cuttingstroke length.

Multiply actual cuttingstroke length by bladeutilization correction coefficient 5 to obtain standardized cuttingstroke length.

Draw fitting curve according to corresponding relation between standardized cuttingstroke length and cutting force.

Read cuttingforce value corresponding to 20mm standardized cuttingstroke length from fitting curve.

Conduct another 5 test cycles with calculated cuttingforce value.

Input test data into original dataset if average cuttingstroke length falls within 18.0mm22.0mm.

Recalculate cuttingforce value if data is out of range.

Run further test cycles and compute cuttingforce value by using valid test data.

Output cuttingforce result with precision up to 0.1N.
