Tetragonal zirconia polycrystal (TZP) is a form of zirconia stabilized with yttria, featuring a nearly 100% tetragonal structure at room temperature. This configuration grants TZP exceptional fracture toughness and hardness, making it a preferred choice for applications requiring high durability and precision. The fine grain size of TZP contributes to its ability to maintain sharp edges and achieve excellent surface finishes, crucial in machining and processing applications.
