The CM140 is a fully automatic four-wheel spindle capping machine equipped with a high-speed vibrating bowl cap feeding system. Engineered for production lines that handle smaller, lighter caps — such as those found in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, and specialty food packaging — the CM140 delivers consistent cap tightening with servo-driven torque precision and a capping success rate exceeding 99.99%.
Unlike gravity-fed or elevator-based systems, the vibrating bowl feeder excels at orienting and delivering small caps at speed, making the CM140 the preferred choice for lines running flip-top caps, disc-top closures, child-resistant caps, and precision-dispensing closures.
Caps are loaded in bulk into the vibrating bowl. Through controlled vibration and helical tracking, caps are oriented correctly (thread-side down or as required) and fed single-file down the cap chute to the capping head.
Bottles enter on the conveyor and are guided by the dual-belt clamping system — two synchronized long-side belts driven by a single VSD controlling dual motors. This ensures each bottle remains stable and centered under the capping head regardless of bottle diameter (50-200mm).
The four-wheel capping head, driven by a servo motor with programmable torque control, engages the cap from four sides simultaneously. A center compression device applies downward pressure to seat the cap before the wheels rotate to tighten. This synchronized action prevents cap damage, cross-threading, and under/over-tightening.
After capping, bottles pass through an optional inspection station before being discharged onto the outfeed conveyor. The HMI displays real-time production data including cap count, torque values, and line speed.
