General Introduction
This Apparent Viscosity Testing Equipment at High-Temperature and High-Shear complies with standards ASTM D5481 and SH/T0703. Under test conditions of 150℃, the sample is forced through a capillary viscometer by nitrogen (or carbon dioxide) pressure. The apparent viscosity of the sample at a wall shear rate of 1.4×106s-1is determined from the sample's efflux time and pressure. By using calibration curves for each viscometer cell, the oil viscosity corresponding to the measured pressure can be established..
