The working principle is: the active part is a standard rotating ring, the passive part is a fixed rectangular block of standard size.

The bearing capacity of lubricant and the friction and wear performance of friction pair materials were evaluated by measuring the width of strip wear mark on the rectangular block of passive specimen under different loads, as well as the friction and friction coefficient between the friction pair materials.
