SH419 fully automatic biodiesel oxidation stability tester (OSI (Oxidative Stability Index)) is designed and manufactured in strict accordance with EN14112 "Determination of Oxidation Stability of Fat and Oil Derivatives - Fatty Acid Methyl Esters (Accelerated Oxidation Method)" (Accelerated Oxidation Test). It is controlled by a microcontroller, displayed on a liquid crystal LCD, automatically outputs results, and prints automatically.
OSI (Oxidative Stability Index), during measurement, hot air at a certain temperature is introduced into the oil sample to accelerate the oxidation of glycerol fatty acids and produce volatile organic acids. The air brings volatile organic acids into a conductive chamber, and the indoor water dissolves the volatile organic acids, ionizes them, and changes the conductivity of the water. The computer continuously measures the conductivity of the conductive chamber, and when the conductivity rises sharply, it indicates the end of the induction period. The period before this is called OSI time.
Controlled by a microcontroller, it can also draw a sample time conductivity curve and automatically calculate the stability time of oil oxidation; The instrument itself has a sample measurement switch and status display.
