The ST217B automatic drug relative density meter (touch screen) is designed and manufactured based on the third method of oscillating density meter in the 2020 Chinese Pharmacopoeia 0601 relative density measurement method. The oscillating density meter mainly consists of a U-shaped oscillating tube (usually made of glass material, used to place samples), an electromagnetic excitation system (to make the oscillating tube oscillate), a frequency meter (used to determine the oscillation period), and a temperature control system

Testing principle

Inject a small amount of sample into a temperature controlled sample tube, record the vibration frequency or period, and calculate the density of the sample using the previously obtained sample tube constant. The constant of the sample tube is determined by the vibration frequency of the sample tube when it is filled with a known density calibration solution. The instrument will directly display the density value after injecting the sample into the sample tube

• 100 sets of test values are automatically saved, and the average, maximum, and minimum values can be automatically calculated
• Calibration function: When the instrument is not used for a long time, drift may occur. This instrument can be calibrated using 20 ℃ pure water as the standard, which is a function that glass density meters cannot achieve.
