Measuring Principle

  This tester works by reading the insulation permeability and electromagnetic induction charge properties of gasoline (for octane rating) and diesel (for cetane rating). It generates final results by comparing the dielectric properties of the tested oil against a pre-stored database of known reference models. The high-precision sensing component picks up even tiny shifts in dielectric parameters, to deliver accurate octane and cetane value readings for all compatible petroleum products.
