Product Overview
The Fully Submerged Fiber Rotary Disk Filter is highly efficient, energy-saving equipment designed for solid-liquid separation and advanced water treatment. This system features a central rotating drum, filtering disk panels, backwashing system, and supporting electrical controls for optimal performance.
Operating Principle
Raw water flows through special fiber filter cloth on the disks into the drum, with filter pores as fine as 10μm effectively intercepting impurities. When accumulated impurities cause liquid level to reach set value, the backwash device automatically activates, suctioning trapped debris into sewage pipes for discharge.
Applications
Extensively used for upgrading existing wastewater treatment plants (improving from Class 1B to Class 1A discharge standards), reusing industrial production water (cooling water in steel and power plants), urban miscellaneous water reuse, and aquaculture water treatment.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will the normal water filtration be interrupted when the equipment is backwashing?
No, it will not. The equipment is designed for automated continuous operation. When the backwash device is active, filtration continues simultaneously on other disk areas, ensuring completely uninterrupted water supply.
Is the head loss high, and does the small pore size cause easy clogging?
The head loss is remarkably small, typically set at just 300mm. When impurities accumulate and trigger the set liquid level, the efficient backwash system immediately activates to clear debris and prevent clogging.
Does this equipment consume a lot of electricity, and does it require external clean water for backwashing?
Power consumption is extremely low as standard filtration relies on gravity. The backwashing system uses filtered water from inside the central drum, requiring no external tap water while maintaining highly efficient backwashing energy usage.
