The PEL Pump E-Type Vertical Surface Aerator (also known as a rotary disk aerator) is a critical horizontal-shaft surface aeration device specifically engineered for oxidation ditch processes and aeration tank oxygenation in sewage treatment plants. This comprehensive system includes an electric motor, vertical reducer, cross-slider coupling, main shaft, and Pump E-type impeller.
Driven by the transmission system, the impeller positioned just below the water surface forcefully agitates wastewater. The resulting vortex draws in and expels wastewater, creating a hydraulic jump that engulfs massive amounts of air. This process ensures complete mixing of wastewater and oxygen to facilitate highly efficient biochemical treatment while providing powerful oxygenation and driving wastewater circulation to prevent activated sludge settling.
