Product Overview
The scraper conveyor is a mechanical material-handling device primarily used for short-distance horizontal conveying or inclined conveying at angles up to 15°. This robust system efficiently transports dewatered sludge and other materials in industrial applications.
Key components include frame, sprockets, scrapers, chains, motor, gearbox, and supporting elements designed for reliable operation in demanding environments.

Conveying coal cut by shearers or coal falling from working-face sidewalls
Serving as running track for coal shearers
Providing fixed anchoring points for advancing hydraulic roof supports
Removing loose coal from working faces
Supporting and carrying electrical cables, water pipes, emulsion pipelines, and auxiliary lines
Structural Components
1. Head Section
The discharge end of the conveyor system, available in end-discharge or cross-side-discharge configurations. Features include:
Head frame, sprocket shaft assembly, retaining blocks, protective plates, and chain stripper
Chain stripper ensures proper chain disengagement and prevents jamming
Sprocket shaft assembly with centralized thin-oil lubrication using N320 extreme-pressure gear oil
Wear surfaces can be repaired by hardfacing welding for extended service life
2. Drive Unit
Power transmission system consisting of electric motor, gearbox, connecting housing, coupling, and chain-tensioning device.

Torque-limiting friction clutch
Variable-speed coupling
Gearbox Functions:
Transmits power from motor to drive mechanism
Reduces rotational speed and increases output torque
Serves as connecting component between motor and conveyor frame
Allows speed adjustment through gear ratio changes

3. Middle Section
Critical component for material conveyance and equipment support, consisting of:
Middle pan, cable trough, dumbbell-pin assemblies, and rack-rail assemblies
Cast-welded construction with spill-plate sidewalls and center plate
Rack rail serves as haulage track for coal shearer
Inspection-window middle pans installed at regular intervals
Deflection Pan: Horizontally offsets shearer toward coal-wall side for bottom coal cutting
Typical Horizontal Offsets:
25 mm for 1,500 mm-long middle pan
30 mm for 1,750 mm-long middle pan
Rear Scraper Conveyor Features:
Semi-enclosed bottom structure for improved wear resistance
Floating-coal recovery device
Arc-shaped ramp-side wall for enhanced coal loading performance
4. Tail Section
Return end forming closed-loop movement with head section. Available in two types:
Standard tail section - Basic return configuration
Telescopic tail section - Adjustable for chain tension control with automatic or manual adjustment
5. Scraper Chain Assembly
Primary material transport component running along middle pans, consisting of scrapers, chains, clamping plates, bolts, and nuts.

Round-link chains - Used for sizes below 38 × 137 mm

Note:
Scrapers, clamping plates, bolts, and nuts are wear parts. Order appropriate quantities of spare parts with your conveyor system.
6. Advancing Support Frame
Connects conveyor head, tail, or transition pan to end hydraulic roof support. Provides necessary connection points and transfers advancing force between conveyor and hydraulic support systems.
Working Face Direction Determination
Left-hand working face: When facing coal wall, conveyor head at left end; or when standing at head looking toward tail, coal wall on left side.
Right-hand working face: When facing coal wall, conveyor head at right end; or when standing at head looking toward tail, coal wall on right side.
