Component composition:
It is mainly composed of a 10.1-inch TFT LCD display and a resistive touch screen. The TFT LCD display part includes the liquid crystal panel, backlight, etc. The liquid crystal panel controls the passage and blocking of light by controlling the orientation of liquid crystal molecules, thereby achieving image display; the backlight provides light for the liquid crystal panel. The resistive touch screen is usually covered on the surface of the display and is typically composed of a surface hard coating, PET layer, outer layer ITO, inner layer ITO, transparent isolation points and glass base layer.
Display technology:
Utilizes TFT (Thin Film Transistor) technology, featuring high resolution and excellent color display capabilities. For instance, the common 10.1-inch LVDS TFT LCD resistive touch screen can achieve a resolution of 1280×800, enabling clear display of images and text. Additionally, the application of IPS technology provides a wider viewing angle, resulting in less variation in image color and clarity when viewed from different angles.
Interface type: Utilizes LVDS (Low Voltage Differential Signal) interface, which has the advantages of high speed, low power consumption, and strong anti-interference ability, enabling stable data transmission between the display screen and the driving circuit.
Touch technology: Resistive touch technology. When a finger or touch pen touches the screen, the outer ITO and inner ITO come into contact at the touch point, causing a change in resistance, generating electrical signals in both the X and Y directions. The touch screen controller converts these electrical signals into the coordinates of the touch point.
Purpose
