There are two types of advertising machines on the market with LED beads inside
1. SMD
SMD, short for Surface Mounted Device, means Surface Mount Device. It is a LED display module formed by encapsulating materials such as lamp cups, brackets, chips, leads, epoxy resin, etc. into different specifications of lamp beads, and then soldering them on a PCB board in the form of patches. Directly exposing SMD display beads not only increases the risk of pixel crosstalk, but also results in poor protection performance, affecting imaging quality and lifespan.
Moreover, due to the structure of the lamp cup and bracket, there is a physical limit to the pixel size of SMD display screens. Taking the SMD display screen with a dot pitch of P1.25 as an example, the minimum pixel size can only be 1mm * 1mm, and the contrast ratio is generally 3000:1, which is difficult to meet the future industry's demand for ultra high definition display development.
2. GOB
GOB, short for Glue on Board, is a layer of epoxy resin applied to the surface of SMD display modules to enhance the sealing performance of the SMD surface mount. GOB is not a breakthrough in packaging technology, but a process improvement on existing SMD surface mount technology, essentially still belonging to the SMD technology genre.
Indoor and outdoor full spacing adhesive technology: using high fluidity and high purity single component epoxy resin material to fill the gaps of the lamp beads, curing to form a protective layer, the overall structure is more robust, greatly reducing the probability of lamp bead solder pad detachment, and effectively improving the anti impact and anti collision performance of the lamp surface;
Indoor GOB process: using new polymer resin materials, equipped with advanced VMD vacuum packaging technology, panel display module, effectively isolating the external environment, with a lamp surface protection level of up to IP65;
Flexible selection of the most suitable process can be made based on specific applications and budgets to enhance display performance and protective effects.
