Wind Cone Wind Indicator Helipad Windsock with Obstruction Light
An aerodrome shall be equipped with at least one wind cone as wind direction indicator. The flood light for illumination is inside wind sock and rotates together with windsock. One obstruction light on top provides aircraft warning.
1.2 meters length: large diameter 300mm, small diameter 150mm (for wind cone height less than 4 meters)
2.4 meters length: large diameter 600mm, small diameter 300mm (for wind cone height between 4-6 meters)
3.6 meters length: large diameter 900mm, small diameter 450mm (for wind cone height more than 6 meters)
Wind Sock Colors: Red and white, orange and white, or orange
Maximum Wind Load: 260 km/h
