What is Dry Ice Cleaning?
Dry ice cleaning is an advanced cleaning technology that uses solid CO2 particles blasted at high pressure to remove contaminants. The system sprays dry ice particles onto surfaces, utilizing temperature differential effects where different materials contract at varying rates. When -78°C dry ice contacts surface contaminants, it causes embrittlement and explosive sublimation, expanding 800 times to generate powerful peeling force that completely removes dirt without residue.
Working Principle
Dry ice cleaning propels solid CO2 particles at supersonic speeds onto workpiece surfaces. The instant sublimation creates micro-explosion effects, causing contaminants to contract from cold exposure while strong air waves peel them away from the substrate.

What is Dry Ice?
Dry ice is solid carbon dioxide, certified by ERA, FDA and USDA as a safe cleaning medium. It's produced by condensing CO2 into liquid form under high pressure (6250.5 kPa) followed by rapid solidification at low pressure, maintaining a temperature of -78.5°C.

Will -78°C dry ice spraying affect engines and surrounding devices?
Testing shows only 9-10°C temperature reduction at 0.5mm depth after 30 seconds of blasting. The rapid movement creates minimal temperature changes (3-5°C), causing no damage to components.
Can hot engines be cleaned immediately after operation?
