Product Overview
This 12.2V 60Ah sodium ion starting battery is designed for automotive, marine, and RV engine starting applications. Sodium ion chemistry offers high safety and fast charge discharge performance while breaking through the energy boundaries of traditional batteries. The rated voltage stays above 12V, matching lead acid battery voltage for direct drop in replacement. With high current starting capacity of 15C and 900 cold cranking amps, it reliably starts most petrol and diesel engines. The built in BMS includes self balancing function for long life and safe operation.

Core Specifications
Nominal voltage is 12.2V with 60Ah rated capacity. Dimensions are 306mm width, 174mm depth, and 200mm height (or 220mm for variant). Weight is only 9.5 kilograms, approximately half that of a lead acid battery of similar capacity. Terminal type is standard post (SAE type). Battery housing is ABS with IP65 protection against dust and water jets. Cell chemistry is sodium ion.

Discharge Performance
Continuous discharge current is 180 amps, sufficient for starter motors and moderate accessory loads. Pulse discharge current reaches 900 amps for up to 1 second, providing powerful cranking current. Cold cranking amps measured by DY 2015 tester is 900 CCA, suitable for most passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, and boats. BMS discharge cut off voltage is 8V with reconnect at 9.6V.

Charge Parameters
Charging uses the CC CV method with charge voltage range of 15.2V to 15.8V. Recommended float voltage is 15V to 15.4V. The recommended charge current is 30 amps for standard charging, while the maximum charge current is 180 amps for ultra fast charging. A full charge can be achieved in as little as 20 minutes when using a high current charger. BMS charge cut off voltage is set to 16V.

Cycle Life and Self Discharge
Cycle life exceeds 3000 cycles at appropriate depth of discharge, outlasting lead acid batteries by 5 to 6 times. Self discharge is very low at less than 3 percent per month, allowing the battery to sit for extended periods without losing starting power. The battery requires no watering, no acid cleaning, and produces no fumes.

Temperature Range
Discharge temperature range is -30°C to 70°C, enabling cold starts in freezing weather and reliable operation in hot engine compartments. Charge temperature range is -20°C to 70°C. Storage temperature range is 0°C to 35°C. BMS high temperature cut off is set at 70°C.

Built in BMS Protection
The integrated Battery Management System provides overcharge protection (cut off at 16V), over discharge protection (cut off at 8V), overcurrent protection for both charge and discharge, short circuit protection, and high temperature cut off (70°C). The BMS also includes self balancing to keep all cells at equal voltage, maximizing capacity and service life.

Applications
This sodium ion battery is ideal as a starting battery for passenger cars, SUVs, light trucks, 4x4 vehicles, and vans. It works for marine engines including outboard and inboard motors. It serves as a starter battery for RVs and campers. The high CCA rating also suits lawn tractors, generators, and small diesel engines.
