Detailed Description of Elevator Compensation Chain Guide Device
Also named compensation chain anti-swing guide, this device is an essential accessory for elevator balance compensation systems, mounted on the pit buffer base or hoistway wall. The compensation chain runs vertically through the roller passage of the guide, widely applied in high-rise, high-speed and heavy-load elevators to restrain chain swinging.
Structure & Material
It consists of painted galvanized steel mounting bracket with adjustable slotted holes and a set of guide rollers. Rollers are available in glass-filled PA66 nylon (standard general use), PU polyurethane (silent premium type) and solid steel (heavy-duty freight elevator use). Each roller is fitted with sealed pre-greased deep groove ball bearing for maintenance-free operation. Main types include 4-wheel enclosing type, double-row 2-wheel type and single-wheel type for different installation spaces.

1. Limit the swinging range of compensation chain and keep vertical operation;
2. Prevent chain tangling with pit components and scratching abrasion;
3. Reduce running collision noise and vibration;
4. Extend the service life of compensation chain by avoiding fatigue bending.
