Product Overview
The cast iron traction pulley is manufactured from high-strength gray cast iron or ductile cast iron. As a key component of the elevator traction system, it changes the direction of wire rope force and increases the center distance between the car and counterweight. With excellent rigidity and impact resistance, it is especially suitable for heavy-duty and high-frequency elevator applications.

· Excellent Wear Resistance: Rope grooves are surface-hardened for outstanding wear resistance, ensuring long-term stability when used with wire ropes.
· Dimensional Stability: Cast iron offers good creep resistance, maintaining precision under significant temperature changes or long-term load conditions.
· Precision Machining: Rope grooves are CNC-machined with minimal profile error, effectively reducing wire rope wear.
· High Load Capacity: Meets the demands of large-tonnage freight elevators and high-capacity passenger elevators.

· Applicable rope diameter: 6–16mm (customizable)
· Groove types: U-groove / Undercut semi-circular groove
· Bearing configuration: Heavy-duty deep-groove ball bearings or tapered roller bearings for high load capacity
 
Applications
Suitable for large-tonnage freight elevators, high-frequency passenger elevators, high-rise high-speed elevators, and industrial elevators with heavy loads.
 
Installation & Service
During installation, ensure end-face parallelism and verticality error ≤2.0mm. Custom non-standard sizes are supported. Load calculation and installation guidance services are available.
 
If you need to adjust the type and diameter range of the rope groove or supplement specific model parameters, further customization is possible.
