Multi-layer Vertical NFT Hydroponic Soilless Cultivation System
1. Vertical shelf structure
Ultimate space utilization: By using multi-layer (typically 4-8 layers or even more) planting racks, the planting surfaces are vertically stacked to maximize the production capacity per unit area. This is the most fundamental difference from traditional flat planting.
Modular design: Planting racks usually adopt standardized modular design, which is convenient for installation, expansion and maintenance. The materials are mostly rust-proof metals (such as galvanized steel and aluminum profiles).
2. Core of NFT hydroponic Technology
Thin-layer nutrient solution circulation: Each layer is an independent NFT pipeline system. A millimeter-sized nutrient solution film continuously flows through the plant roots, ensuring a stable supply of water and nutrients.
Root oxygen-rich environment: Most of the roots are exposed to moist air, ensuring full respiration and avoiding the oxygen deficiency problem of traditional hydroponics, thus growing faster and healthier.
3. Integrated artificial supplementary lighting system
Unrestricted environment: This is a revolutionary feature of the system with supplementary lighting. It does not rely on sunlight and can be grown in any enclosed space such as windowless indoors, basements, warehouses, etc.
Precise control of light environment: Each planting surface layer is equipped with dedicated artificial light sources (usually highly efficient and energy-saving LED plant lights). It can be precisely controlled
Light intensity: Provide the optimal light intensity for different crops or at different growth stages.
Photoperiod: Precisely control the daily on and off times of lights to simulate the optimal circadian rhythm.
Spectrum: Utilize the full spectrum or the red-blue spectrum optimized for photosynthesis to maximize the utilization rate of light energy.
4. Highly controllable and automated
Climate control: In a closed environment, temperature, humidity and carbon dioxide concentration can all be precisely controlled and optimized to create the most ideal growth conditions for plants.
Integrated water and fertilizer management: The EC (fertility concentration) and pH (acidity and alkalinity) values of the nutrient solution are automatically monitored and adjusted through sensors and controllers to achieve precise fertilization.
