Current manufacturing methods include welding (solder) and fin penetration processes. While welding offers lower interface thermal resistance, it requires specialized electroplating processing for copper-aluminum bonding and demands high precision to avoid performance degradation from uneven welding or internal bubbles.
The heat sink assembly consists of three critical components: heat pipes, zipper fins, and base plate. Each component significantly impacts overall cooling effectiveness, with all three parts being interdependent. Simply enhancing one component doesn't guarantee performance improvements, but any deficiency in a single part can substantially compromise the heat sink's performance.
