Product Advantages
This friction stir welding liquid cold plate base material is AL6061. A longitudinal channel is formed on the base through deep hole drilling, then milled through at both ends of the transverse interval. The channel is closely connected by friction stir welding technology. In applications requiring more compression strength and thinner thickness, FSW cold plate technology has been successfully applied to liquid cooled heat sinks for high power fiber lasers.
The surface treatment technology of hard anodizing is made possible by the material with similar composition and the friction stir welding process without adding solder. FSW Cold Plate finished with hard anodized coating enables fiber lasers to withstand harsh service environments and long-term fluid erosion.
