Warnings & Safety Instructions

Charging

  • Use Designated Chargers/Controllers: Charge only with equipment designed for sodium-ion batteries with the correct voltage (e.g., ≤ 3.95V per cell) and current limits. 
  • Temperature Control: Do not charge outside the recommended temperature range (-20°C to +60°C, ideally 0°C to +45°C). Charging below -20°C can cause permanent damage .

  • Voltage/Current Limits: Do not exceed the maximum charge voltage or current.


Discharging

  • Voltage Limit: Do not discharge the battery below the recommended cut-off voltage (≥1.8V). Deep discharge can irreversibly damage the battery .
  • Current Limit: Do not exceed the maximum continuous discharge current.

  • Temperature Monitoring: If the battery becomes excessively hot during use, stop operation and allow it to cool down.


Storage & Disposal

  • Ideal Storage Charge: For long-term storage (longer than one month), store the battery at a state of charge between 30% and 50% (approx. 3.4V - 3.6V) .
  • Storage Environment: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture. The recommended storage temperature is typically -20°C to +35°C .

  • Disposal: Do not dispose of in regular trash. As a rechargeable battery, it must be recycled or disposed of according to local regulations at designated battery recycling centers.
