Warnings & Safety Instructions

Charging

  • Use Designated Chargers: Charge only with a charger specifically designed for sodium-ion batteries with the correct voltage (e.g., matching the specified charge voltage) and current limits. Using an incorrect charger, especially one designed for lithium-ion, is dangerous.
  • Temperature Control: Do not charge outside the recommended temperature range. Charging in extreme temperatures can cause permanent damage or hazards.

  • Avoid Overcharging: Do not leave the battery connected to the charger indefinitely after it is fully charged.

Discharging

  • Voltage Limit: Do not discharge the battery below the recommended cut-off voltage (e.g., ~1.5V-2.0V). Deep discharge can irreversibly damage the battery.
  • Current Limit: Do not exceed the maximum continuous discharge current (e.g., 5C for the base model, or as specified for the variant).

  • Temperature Monitoring: If the battery becomes excessively hot during use, stop operation and allow it to cool down.

Storage & Disposal

  • Ideal Storage Charge: For long-term storage, store the battery at a state of charge between 30% and 50% in a cool, dry place.
  • Storage Environment: Store away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and moisture.
