• Do not disassemble, dispose in fire, heat or short circuit
• Do not expose batteries to sunlight for long periods

Whether using grade A, B, C or used LiFePO4 cells, initial balancing is essential to bring them to the same state of charge. Voltage alone is unreliable for determining state of charge in this chemistry due to the flat charge/discharge curve.

Proper initial balance ensures accurate capacity test results and prevents premature BMS triggering. If balancing problems occur, initial balancing should be performed before applying active balancers.

While parallel connection allows natural balancing over weeks or months, manual top balancing is recommended for large battery banks, cells with varying internal resistance, or when precise capacity balancing is required.
