What is LTO/Lithium Titanate Battery?
Lithium titanate battery (LTO) uses lithium titanate as negative electrode material for lithium ion batteries. It can be combined with lithium manganate, NCM materials or lithium iron phosphate to form 2.4V or 1.9V lithium ion secondary battery. LTO offers deep cycle capability with more than 25,000 cycles. It is one of the best options for solar energy systems, ideal for street lamps, home power walls, solar systems, etc. Yinlong 66160 can discharge at 10C rate.
Longer Lifespan (Lifecycles ≥25,000 Times)
The spinel structure of lithium titanate has minimal lattice parameter change (from 0.836 to 0.837 μm) with only 0.3% volume change, providing excellent cycle stability. In comparison, graphite materials experience 10% volume change during charging/discharging, leading to pulverization and reduced cycle life.
