Product Overview
This Lime Silo is an integrated system designed for the storage, transfer, and precise dosing of powdered materials (like Hydrated Lime) in sewage sludge, industrial wastewater, and waste gas treatment applications. It ensures fully enclosed, automated operation for preparing lime slurry, offering an ideal bulk storage solution for modern environmental engineering projects.

Working Principle

1. Loading: Lime powder is pneumatically conveyed from a tanker truck into the silo via a feed pipe. The dust collector on the silo top filters the air-powder mixture, releasing clean air and retaining the powder inside. A bag-shaking device cleans the filter.

2. Level Monitoring: An electrical control cabinet with "High" and "Low" material level indicators and alarms (both visual and audible) provides real-time inventory data. These signals are also transmitted to the central PLC.

3. Automatic Replenishment: When the level reaches a mid-point, the system is ready for refilling. At a "High" level alarm, the truck's air pump is stopped. The dust collector's cleaning device operates for a set time after loading.

4. Dosing & Mixing: Stored lime is discharged via a vibrator, rotary valve (star unloader), and screw conveyor into the dissolving tank. Simultaneously, the water inlet solenoid valve opens, and the tank's mixer activates to prepare a lime slurry of specific concentration.

5. Continuous Operation: The dosing pump draws slurry from the tank for treatment processes. A level switch in the tank automates the batching cycle: at a "Low" level, the feeding and mixing process starts; at a "High" level, it stops, ensuring a continuous supply.

Packing and Delivery

1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.

2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
