Product Overview

The ZCX series central-drive single/double pipe suction machine is designed for large and medium-sized sedimentation tanks with peripheral water intake/discharge and central sludge discharge. It is widely used in urban wastewater treatment plants for efficient sludge extraction in secondary sedimentation tanks.

Structure & Working Principle

The system adopts a central transmission vertical frame design:

1. Wastewater enters through a peripheral distribution tank and flows uniformly into the sedimentation tank.

2. A peripheral skirt guides water from the tank bottom toward the center, promoting sludge settling.

3. The central drive rotates the vertical frame, sludge scraper arms, and suction pipes.

4. Sludge enters suction ports via hydrostatic pressure and is discharged through a central sludge pipe with a sleeve valve for flow control.

5. Floating scum is skimmed to the periphery and removed by a scraper mechanism.

6. Treated effluent flows over a triangular weir into the outlet trough.

Packing and Delivery

1. Waterproof packing with the international export standard by 20ft, 40ft, 40hp container. Equipment Fittings, Electric Motor and Power Cabinet will be packed in Wooden Case or Iron Box. Other Equipment will be packed by Color-Stripes Plastic Cloth.

2. The whole plant machinery size are large as normal, so we will use Waterproof cloth to pack all of them. The motor, gear box or other easily damaged parts, we will put them into box. We have a professional shipping department, they will try their best to save your container quantity.
