The long arm of the excavator is made of Q355B steel with good strength and rigidity. The shaft sleeve of the lengthened arm is generally made of 45 # steel, with 40Cr bushing inside, together with the lubricating effect of butter, it reduces the shear force produced when the shaft and the sleeve rotate frequently, thus, the service life of the shaft sleeve is increased. When the extended arm is used, the service performance of the original excavator will not be changed. Made of high strength steel plate, long service life. Of course, it greatly improves the operating range and can meet the needs of various special working conditions. Can be refitted together with the customer's original hook machine to save costs. Today's excavator boom arm extends its range of applications, such as deep foundation pit and steep slope excavation earthworks, river embankments, slope trimming works, and other special working conditions with special requirements for depth, width and height.

Q1: Why not have boom and stick cylinders in the plan?
A1: First, the whole long arm is lengthening, but the boom just lengthening from its middle sleeve to its end, so the original boom and stick cylinder can be used. Second, using the original parts can save you cost.

Q2: How long is the boom arm can min excavator be configured with? Whether it is necessary to increase the counterweight?
A2. Generally speaking, the 30-40 excavator longest arm suggests to be 8 meters, can configure 0.1 cbm bucket, with no need an extra counterweight. 55 excavator's longest arm suggests to be 12 meters, can configure 0.1-0.15 cbm bucket, which need 0.5 ton extra counterweight. 60-80 excavator longest arm suggests to be 12 meters, can configure 0.15-0.25 cbm bucket, need 0.5-0.7 ton extra counterweight.
It is not recommended to extend boom arm to longes the t length as min excavator is easy to slosh.

Q3: How long will it take tall an excavator long reach boom?

It depends on the installer and machine size.
Usually disconnecting the original boom arm, stick cylinder, then pin the new one is okay.
Kindly remind, use to prepare several containers to fill the oil before disassembling.
