Each drum and conveyor is independently driven by variable-frequency motor-reducer units, allowing precise speed adjustment for optimal process control. 1. What is the difference between cold roller drying and spray drying?
Cold roller drying solidifies soap by cooling, using much less energy. Spray drying uses hot air to evaporate water, consuming more energy. Cold roller drying also produces denser soap flakes, which are better for downstream pressing and extrusion processes.
2. Can the soap flake thickness be controlled?
Yes. Flake thickness is adjustable from 0.3mm to 1.5mm by regulating the drum speed and doctor blade clearance. This allows you to produce flakes suitable for different downstream processes.
3. How does the cooling water system work?
The system uses a closed-loop cooling circuit with an integrated cooling tower or chiller. Water temperature is maintained at 4-10°C, keeping the drum surface at a constant 10-20°C for optimal solidification.
4. How much floor space does the system require?
A typical 1000kg/h configuration requires approximately 15-20 square meters with a height of about 3.5 meters. This saves over 80% of the floor space compared to traditional drying rooms.
5. What is the lead time for delivery?
