Working Principles
Inside the wound solenoid coil, a sorting tank filled with a certain amount of magnetically conductive stainless - steel wool (or steel plate mesh) is placed. After the coil is excited, the magnetically conductive stainless - steel wool is magnetized, generating a highly non - uniform magnetic field on its surface, that is, a high - gradient magnetized magnetic field. Non - magnetic materials, on the other hand, pass directly through the magnetic field and enter the non - magnetic product tank. When the weakly magnetic substances captured by the steel wool reach a certain level, ore feeding is stopped, the excitation power supply is disconnected, and the magnetic substances are flushed and made to flow into the magnetic product tank. Then, the next operation cycle begins.
Application Fields
Non - metallic Mineral Purification
It is used for the purification and refinement of non - metallic minerals such as kaolin, bauxite, quartz sand, and feldspar. Fine weakly magnetic coloring impurity particles such as Fe₂O₃ and TiO₂ can be removed, improving the quality and whiteness of the ore.
