Marine Ship airbags/Ship Launching Airbags are also known as air balloon, inflatable bags, roller bags, air lifting bags, salvage bags. Standard air bag size range is 0.8m to 2.0m diameter, with length up to 18.0m 'effective length'. We Company can do any size by customers' requirements, for example from 0.5m to 5.0m diameter with length even 30m.

After more than two decades years of practice and accumulation of experience, we have developed the technology from launching only 1,000 DWT ships to current 55,000 DWT ships and we will achieve more. And now this technology has become a flexible, promising, secure and mature technology. Besides that, these airbags are widely used in slipping of ships and boats of all sizes.

Product Construction

Ship Launching / Landing Airbags, basic body are consisted of our rubber layers, synthetic-cord-reinforced rubber layers, are kind of a cylindrical airbags with hemispherical heads at the both ends. All of these are vulcanized together, and then compress air inside to enable it to roll.

1. Outer Rubber

The outer rubber layer protects the cord layers from abrasion and other external forces. This compound has sufficient tensile and tear strength to withstand any weather condition and hard usage. Standard color is black.

2. Synthetic-net-cord layer for reinforcement

The reinforcement cord layers, which are made of Synthetic-tire-cord commonly used in tires, are arranged at ideal angles to hold the internal pressure and to distribute the stress even providing strong efficient reinforcement.

3. End Fittings

End fittings include air tightness swivel and airbags safety air inlet.

----Effective Length (EL): from 5m to 30m.

----Total Length (TL): from 6m to 32m

4.2. The standard number of layers

The number of layers, which mean the number of Synthetic-tyre-cord layer, usually, our airbags contain 3,4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9,10,11,12 layers types. Other type is still available upon your request to confirm the Safety Working Pressure.
