Pneumatic rubber fender, also called Yokohama fender, is manufactured using rubber and multiple layers of rubber-dipped tire fabric. It serves as a leading anti-collision device for marine applications worldwide.

Floating pneumatic rubber fenders are lightweight and can be easily handled and installed with guy-ropes or guy-chains. They maintain energy absorption levels under inclined compression up to 15 degrees while providing low and comparatively even hull pressure. Constructed with several synthetic-cord layers and tough abrasion-resistant rubber, these fenders deliver consistent performance even under rough conditions and cyclic loads, minimizing maintenance costs and damage risks. Fender assembly features metal ends with inside and outside flanges secured by bolts and nuts, with a center valve similar to automobile tire valves.

• Check air pressure every three months and adjust as needed

• When not in use for extended periods: wash, dry, fill with appropriate compressed air, and store in cool, dry, ventilated areas
