During the installation phase of an offshore wind farm project in Northern Europe, a construction contractor experienced an unexpected underwater recovery challenge. A hydraulic positioning module weighing approximately 3.8 tons fell from a working platform during subsea foundation preparation and settled near the seabed at a depth of 36 meters.
A professional diving team installed multiple lift bags around the hydraulic module according to the calculated buoyancy requirements.
