Ship Launching Balloon is an inflatable marine engineering load transfer system designed for ship launching, vessel transportation, and controlled slipway replacement operations in shipbuilding and offshore construction environments.
Engineered using multi-layer reinforced synthetic tire cord fabric combined with high-strength vulcanized rubber compounds, this cylindrical pneumatic structure sustains high internal pressure and distributed compressive loading under dynamic marine operating conditions.
A coastal shipbuilding facility in Indonesia successfully launched a 10,500 DWT bulk carrier using our Ship Launching Balloon system on reclaimed land without permanent slipway infrastructure.
The system maintained stable rolling progression with controlled deformation behavior, enabling smooth and controlled vessel movement toward water entry. Post-launch inspection confirmed stable hull structure with no deformation or stress concentration marks.
