Common Steel Grades and Material Standards (for reference when selecting materials): Carbon Steel/Low-Alloy Steel: Common grades include high-strength steels in the AA, ASTM A/SA, and EN 10025 series. Chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloy steels: Corrosion-resistant stainless steels such as 1.4404/316L are used in some structural sections, but high-strength carbon alloy steels are typically used for load-bearing components, with surface coatings used to enhance corrosion resistance. High-strength low-alloy steels (HSLA): Examples include S355J2+N, S460N, and S690QL. Heat treatment and surface treatment are required to meet these requirements.
