What is the minimum bending radius for your curved wave aluminum panels?
For standard rolling processes that ensure the smoothest surface, we recommend a radius of R400mm or above. However, with our 20 years of expertise, we can achieve tight curves like R50, R100, or R200 using specialized step-bending (incremental folding) technique. Please note that smaller radii require more labor and longer lead times.
Why is the price higher for a radius below R200?
Radii smaller than R200 often exceed the physical limits of standard rolling machines. To maintain precision and avoid surface cracking, we must use step bending, where each arc is formed by dozens of individual, manual folds. This process is highly labor-intensive and time-consuming, leading to higher fabrication costs.
What materials and thicknesses do you offer for 3D wave facades?
We primarily use high-grade 3003-H24 aluminum alloy, known for its excellent formability and durability. While we offer various thicknesses, 3.0mm is our most recommended specification for large-scale architectural projects in regions like Singapore and the Philippines to ensure maximum wind resistance and flatness.
