The double lumen laryngeal mask airway (DL-LMA) is an advanced type of supraglottic airway device that provides additional functionality beyond a standard laryngeal mask airway (LMA).
Description:

• The DL-LMA features two separate lumens or channels within the device:
  1. The main airway lumen for ventilation and oxygenation
  2. A secondary lumen for suctioning or the administration of other therapies
• The two lumens are integrated into a single, flexible and curved device that is inserted into the patient's pharynx.
• The proximal end of the DL-LMA has separate connectors for each of the two lumens.

• Allows for simultaneous ventilation/oxygenation and suctioning or administration of other clinical interventions.
• Provides a more versatile airway management option in situations where both ventilation and targeted therapies are required.
